Collaboration between kinnections® and ARACY

by kinnection • October 25, 2022

Kinnections Australia Pty Ltd. announced a partnership with ARACY (Australian Research Alliance for Children and Youth).

Kinnections operates as a web-based platform and mobile application for educators working with children from age four. The system streamlines regular wellbeing assessments in educational environments. Weekly check-ins represent purposeful conversations between educators and students, incorporating evidence-based indicators such as connection, optimism, safety, and overall wellbeing.

The platform captures responses and generates dashboards plus weekly reports, helping educators spot children needing additional support. Custom dashboards and reports offer comprehensive insights as patterns develop, making it simple to identify at-risk students. Early identification can mitigate long-term negative effects of poor wellbeing.

Through ARACY collaboration, Kinnections promotes best practices and shapes national policy to benefit Australia's children.

ARACY assembles people and knowledge to strengthen the child and youth sector, shape decision-making, and drive collaborative action. The Common Approach® aligns with Kinnections to ensure evidence-based, prevention-focused conversations reflecting strengths-based, child-centered, collaborative, and holistic practices.

"Kinnections was created to recognise children who may be experiencing a decline in their wellbeing and due to their age, may fly under the radar for years."

— Josh Vaughan, CEO

"Having a quick, easy, and robust method to understand the wellbeing needs of 4-year-olds can allow us to provide support."

— Dr. Rebecca Goodhue, ARACY
